We are currently tied up with larger jobs and are not taking phone calls. Leave a request through the form — we return and will contact you from October 15.

Call now, do not wait for morning

These signs mean something is already heating up or arcing behind the wall. They are not problems that "will hold until Monday":

Electrician working on an open consumer unit during a call-out
  • A burning smell around a socket, switch or the consumer unit - the insulation is already melting
  • Sparking when you plug something in or pull it out
  • A socket or faceplate that is warm to the touch
  • A breaker that trips again the moment you reset it
  • An RCD that will not stay on - that means current is escaping somewhere
  • Lights flickering across the whole flat - possibly a loose connection on the main supply
  • A shock when touching a tap, water heater or washing machine
  • Water or damp that has reached the consumer unit, a socket or a junction box

What to do while we are on the way

These steps are safe and anyone can do them. Do not go further than this - opening the consumer unit or taping over a hot cable makes the problem worse.

  • Switch off the main breaker if there is a burning smell or water involved. It is the large switch in the consumer unit.
  • Unplug the appliances that were running when it happened, so they do not start again by themselves when power returns.
  • If a single breaker tripped, try resetting it once. If it trips again, leave it off - do not try a third time.
  • Never put wire, a nail or a coin in place of a blown fuse. That is the single most common cause of electrical fires.
  • If there is smoke or flame, get out and call 193. We come after that.

How quickly we arrive

The times below are for normal conditions. At night and in heavy traffic they change, but we give you a realistic estimate on the phone - we do not promise ten minutes just to keep you on the line.

  • Centar - around 30 minutes
  • Aerodrom - 30-45 minutes, under 30 for emergencies
  • Karpos - under 30-45 minutes
  • Kisela Voda - 30-45 minutes, 40-60 for Dracevo and Pripor
  • Butel - 30-40 minutes, 35-50 for Radisani, 45-60 for Ljubanci and Brest
  • Gjorce Petrov - 30-45 minutes, 45-60 for Bardovci and Stenkovec
  • Ilinden - 20-30 minutes
  • Gazi Baba - 30-45 minutes

How we agree the work

Night, weekend and holiday call-outs carry a surcharge. We tell you about it on the phone, before we set off - not after the work is done. If it does not suit you, nobody has driven anywhere.

Every job comes with an invoice and a written guarantee. If the fault needs a part we do not carry in the van, we tell you on site what is needed and how long it takes, and you decide whether we continue.

What we carry with us

  • Test equipment for locating faults - you do not find a break in a cable by guessing
  • Circuit breakers and RCD protection in standard ratings
  • Sockets, switches, faceplates and junction boxes
  • Cable for a temporary bypass until a permanent repair is made
  • Work lighting for spaces with no power

When it is not an emergency

We write this on purpose, because an emergency call-out costs more. If your situation is one of these, book a normal appointment and pay less:

  • One bulb has gone or one light fitting is dead, and everything else works
  • You want a new socket, or an existing one moved
  • You are planning a new installation, a renovation or a new consumer unit
  • A breaker tripped once, reset fine and has worked ever since
  • You have no power, but neither do your neighbours - then it is the distribution network, not your installation

If you are not sure which group you are in, call and describe it. That costs nothing, and on the phone it is usually clear whether it can wait.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you really work at 3am?

Yes, we are on call 24 hours a day. Night calls go to (Ivica) and (Daniel). If the first number is busy, try the second.

How is the night and weekend surcharge agreed?

Night, weekend and holiday call-outs carry a surcharge. We tell you on the phone before we set off, so there is no surprise at the end. The exact amount depends on the hour, the location and what we find on site.

What if the fault cannot be fixed on the spot?

If a part is needed that we do not carry, we make the installation safe or explain what must not be used until it is replaced, and we agree a time. You pay for what was actually done on site, not for what was not.

Do you travel outside Skopje at night?

For the towns we cover, yes, including outside working hours. Travel time is longer and that affects the cost, so call and we will give you a realistic estimate.

The whole building has no power - you or the distribution company?

If your neighbours also have no power, it is a network fault and the distribution company handles it. If they have power and you do not, it is your installation or your meter position, and that is our work.

Leave a request, we will contact you when we return
