Chandelier, Light and LED Strip Installation in Skopje
A chandelier that has sat in its box for months is one of the most common reasons people call us. We come out for a single light - no job is too small.

- Smart lighting and dimmers
A heavy chandelier needs a real anchor
The most common mistake in DIY fitting is hanging from an ordinary plug in plasterboard. Plasterboard does not carry weight - a chandelier of a few kilos will pull the fixing out over time, along with a piece of the ceiling. Anything heavy needs a backing plate or an anchor into the structure, which we check before lifting anything.
The second common mistake is joining without a box and without insulating the connection. The joint above the ceiling is the one nobody sees and nobody checks - so that is where we use a proper box and connector, not tape.
LED strips - where it usually goes wrong
LED strips look simple, but three things kill them early: an undersized driver, fitting without an aluminium profile, and too long a run from one supply. Without a profile, a strip stuck straight onto a surface overheats and loses output within months.
So we fit strips into profile, with the driver sized with headroom, and the run length calculated per segment. If you want the strip on a switch or controlled from your phone, we plan that in from the start.
We come out for one job
If we are already with you for a chandelier, the other small jobs - a loose socket, a switch that sparks, a blown fuse - get finished on the same visit. No need for a second appointment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will you come out for just one chandelier?
Yes. We come out for a single light. If you have other small jobs, we finish them on the same visit.
Can a chandelier be fixed to plasterboard?
Light fittings yes, with the right plasterboard fixing. Anything heavier needs a backing plate or an anchor into the structure behind - we check that before fitting.
Do you supply LED strip materials?
We can come with materials or fit yours. If you are buying your own, tell us the length and location and we will tell you what driver and profile you need.
Why has my LED strip gone dim?
Usually because it was fitted without an aluminium profile, or the driver is undersized. The profile carries the heat away - without it the strip overheats and loses output.
